Installing A Spiral Thrust Ring:
(and doing so without scratching the case all up)
An Illustrated Guide In Six Steps.
1) Get some pliers and a roll of masking tape.
2) Wrap 3 or 4 layers of masking tape around the end of the case in front of the groove
3) Fold the excess tape over the end of the case.
4) Pull the 'spring' clip apart like a slinky, and insert one end into the grove.
While pulling the free end of the clip away, rotate the case while using your thumb to guide
more of the clip into the groove. Watch the tape protect your pretty blue case.
5) Take the free end of the clip and pull it away from the case with the pliers, and guide it into the groove.
6) Remove the tape, and admire your handiwork!
